James Hayhurst is a 1974 Air Force Academy graduate, former F-15 fighter pilot and instructor pilot. He flew twenty years for a major U.S. airline, serving as a co-pilot, captain and check airman. He is the author of How the V is Formed, The Adventures of Mercury Lane, Netblue and other novels. Hayhurst currently resides in Northern Virginia.
